Every European Union communication, strategy or directive concerning the agrifood system addresses certain topics, defers others to later stages, and does not name others at all. Each official document has its own dedicated profile here: what it contains, what is binding and what is not, and what is not mentioned relative to the objectives and legal references the text itself states. Where several topics are at stake, the order followed is always the same: public health, environment, animal welfare.

Each profile examines a single official European Union document — a communication, strategy or legislative act — and presents, with verifiable citations, the topics covered, the measures deferred to later stages, and the areas not explicitly addressed in the text.
