What the view shows
Atmospheric emissions assigned to livestock sectors in the available official inventories, aggregated at province level.
The view reports the available 2023 INEMAR data for Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy and Veneto. For each province it sums SNAP sectors 4 (enteric fermentation), 5 and 9 (manure management), and 10 (particulate matter from livestock farming), within the Agriculture macro-sector. Sector 7, relating to manure spreading, is excluded because it is present only in the Lombardy dataset and would make the comparison inconsistent.
Coverage is not national, and the regional sources do not publish all the same substances and sectors. In particular, the Emilia-Romagna product does not report CH₄, N₂O, CO₂ or sector 4. The view therefore keeps pollutants separate and states the available coverage: a missing value does not mean zero emissions.
Province level is used for all three regions to retain comparable granularity. The values describe what is reported by the regional inventories and are not attributed to individual farms.
